Join us for a relaxed and inspiring evening with Charlie Brown, head winemaker at Sandridge Barton in Devon. From his roots in Wiltshire to harvests across Australia and South Africa, Charlie’s winemaking journey has taken him around the world—but his heart (and barrels) are firmly rooted in the English countryside.
After swapping town planning for tank cleaning back in 2014, Charlie discovered his passion for wine at Sharpham Winery. Since then, he’s worked with biodynamic pioneers in the Barossa Valley, crafted bold reds in Stellenbosch, and refined his craft at the innovative MacForbes in Victoria. These global experiences now shape his low-intervention, vineyard-led approach at Sandridge Barton—especially his boundary-pushing Don’t Feed The Ponies range.
